Carolyn is now the CEO of Sisu Global Health, a medical device company focused on the developing world.
Carolyn is the past Founder and CEO of CentriCycle. Carolyn’s role is to manage business operations, development, and vision of the organization. She has been at the heart of CentriCycle and leading its development for the past 4 years from its small beginnings as a class project, to a student organization of 22 people, to the company it has become. She is passionate, tenacious, and has an ability and love for diving into the unknown. Carolyn has received accolades such as the RPM Ventures Entrepreneur of the Year, Summer in South Asia Fellow, University of Michigan Hero, and the Harry E. Benford Entrepreneurial Award. She also has had numerous features including in Business Insider for “Best College Start-Ups,” the University of Michigan admission page, and 3 Day Startup.
Carolyn graduated magna cum laude in chemical engineering at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in 2013. She speaks 3 languages including Hindi.
